SEPROTEC Becomes a Member of tekom
SEPROTEC has become a member of tekom. The German trade association for technical communication and information development is the most important European association for companies and individuals working in the field of technical communication and focuses both on political and economic issues.

Sponsoring of the trade journal “tcworld”
Along with membership, SEPROTEC has agreed to sponsor the tekom trade journal “tcworld”. The commitment involves the ongoing translation of a selection of technical articles from German into Spanish which will be published online by the Spanish trade association ACOMTEC and will enhance the visibility of tekom in the Spanish market.

This year, the German trade association for technical communication and information development will hold its annual conference at the exhibition centre of Rhein-Main-Hallen in Wiesbaden, Germany. SEPROTEC will exhibit at this, the largest trade fair of its kind worldwide, featuring approx. 2,000 participants, at booth no. 104. There, the company will showcase the services of its technical translation division and strengthen its presence on the German speaking market.

This year, the tekom annual conference features an exceptionally broad and extensive programme about technical communication and is a must for all multilingual service providers, localization providers, technical editors and IT-experts. Services and software for compilation and management of technical documentation, including content management systems, translation and localisation tools as well as authoring tools for online help will be presented at the fair. Further fields of interest include the translation of technical manuals for export products, the edition of catalogues for pre and after sales, the localisation of software platforms and technical illustration.

Players in the sector will get the opportunity to exchange their knowledge and embark on new ways of collaboration by way of numerous lectures, expert forums, workshops and the international 'tcworld – conference 2006'. tekom has invited top-class international speakers who will talk at the ‘tcworld – conference' about the latest trends in technical communication. A first on German grounds is the OASIS Open Standard Day, where open e-business and web service standards will be presented and discussed.
